Skirts!

Okay, so I'm currently in the middle of deciding what kind of skirt I want to make for my fall wardrobe.

I really like this one by Forever 21. I bet if I go to the thrift store I can find a long skirt of dress with a cute pattern, take it apart, and make it into something like this. It has a side zipper. :( Yeah....so I'm gonna try to put in elastic waist.....I really hate zippers, I guess since I'm not the best seamstress though.

Skirts are one of my favorite things ever! They are just sooooooooo fun and girly! I also want to make this one.

I like this maxi skirt, also from the one and only Forever 21. Things like this are real simple. Paired with a cute cropped top. I like the shoes in the picture.

Salutations,

Hello. My name is April. I enjoy the thoguht of Fashion being a sport. Who can sew that seam the fastest??? (Giggle).

I began REALLY sewing at about eight years old. I love doing it because it's something I'm VERY passionate about. I like to just sit down at my sewing machine and sew....it doesn't really matter if it's a rag doll or a sundress. A quilt or a pillow. I love it all.

So alot of people under estimate the power of Fashion. I like to capatulize the F in Fashion because I believe it's very important you realize that it's there.

Okay, right now my favorite thing to sew is skirts. They are really super simple. I've made I think three or four so far. If you do a really super cute print you can wear it with so many different tops, dressing it up or down.

I do sew doll clothes-er, rephase that. Sometimes when I don't have enough fabric for a dress or skirt for myself, or my four year old sister Kevionna I just make it doll size. Then when I get enough fabric I can make it for Kevionna or myself.

Okay, so I'll post more later.
